Discount mortgages lower your payments in the first few years to help you when you may have many other major financial outlays to consider such as redecoration or new furniture. These rates give you a discount on our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) for a chosen number of years.
Our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) is our basic rate and it can go up or down, usually following changes to the Bank of England's Base Rate. Please note, any discounted promotional rate will revert to our SVR after the agreed period.
