Self Certification mortgages for those who don't have regular incomes

At Bank of Ireland Mortgages, our Self Certification mortgages are especially designed to help those who can't provide regular pay slips or 2 years' certified accounts, or who rely heavily on commission or non-guaranteed bonuses.

We understand how difficult it can be if you find yourself in these circumstances and are seeking a mortgage or remortgage. This is where our easy to understand Self Certification mortgages could help. These specialist mortgages allow you to certify your own income to us - we don't need it to be independently confirmed. And you can borrow up to 75% of the property value (or the product maximum if this differs).

Under normal circumstances, anyone aged 21 or over (including First Time Buyers) who has been permanently resident in the UK for the last three years, has an established income and a good credit history can apply. For full details of eligibility see our Self Certification lending criteria.

We currently offer a range of Self Certification options. Simply choose the mortgage option that best suits your individual needs. If you like what you see, you can apply right now online.

If you're unsure about anything you read, or would like more information, please call us. You can talk to one of our friendly mortgage specialists by calling 0845 603 1892 (Lines open 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday)
