| On 5th March 2012 we wrote to affected customers about our intention to increase our Standard Variable Rate (SVR), currently 2.99%, by 1.5% to 4.49% in 2 stages by September 2012. Please refer to your letter and the accompanying leaflet for full details of this change. |

- customers who are currently being charged SVR on all or part of their mortgage
- customers who are on a fixed rate mortgage that changes to the SVR applicable at the end of the fixed rate period |
